Posted by admin on May 10, 2011 – 8:43 pm

Welcome to our last user group meeting before we break for summer. On Friday May 27 we will have two guests presenting on technologies that help enterprises manage the desktop environment. AppSense is a management technology that focuses on the user environment while DeployExpert assists with driver management for workstations. Each session will provide you with information on how these tools can take your environment to the next level regardless if it is part of a desktop optimization effort or Windows 7 migration project.

Topic: AppSense in the Enterprise
Darren is a consultant that has touched a variety of technologies from desktop deployment up to profile virtualization. Coming from a mid-sized oil and gas environment using a variety of progressive management technologies Darren will talk about user environment management using AppSense. This product integrates with technologies such as Microsoft App-V, Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop, vWorkspace and traditional desktops to provide truly unique management and user end user experience to the enterprise that goes far beyond Group Policy.
